Hey Everyone!
I had this posted as a gig initially and I received a lot of requests for the stem of the track. To keep it fair and give everyone a chance to explore and create, posting now as a contest.
I am looking for a female vocalist to sing a top line on a track/work in progress. Style of track will be similar to Deadmau5, No Mana, i_o. Aesthetic I am looking for is dark and deep, but with a haunting yet beautiful underlying. Dark, emotional. Skylar Grey type of feel would be a starting example, but open to many vocal styles and vocal coloring in terms of aesthetic. More dynamics the better, vocal range. Open to freedom of expression and interpretation on what the short track edit makes you feel. Explore it creatively. If you listen to the chord progression and it resonates with you, don't hesitate to give it a try.
Audio file is just a work in progress with a quick master. This will more than likely be a intro/break in part of the track with the dance sub section to follow.
The Soundcloud link, I have a piano version of the chord progression for those of you that feel it more in writing to a piano. As a old vocalist, was a preference of mine. Downloads are enabled.
