Trained vocalist, recording artist, songwriter and musician with 10 years of professional experience. My vocal style and ability have been compared to those of Norah Jones, Aretha Franklin, Erykah Badu, Natalie Merchant, Susan Tedeschi, Dusty Springfield, and Lauryn Hill, among others. I have a 3 octave plus range but tend to sing on the lower end in my original music. Vocally I'm a bit of a chameleon and love to try out different styles.
I've recorded studio vocals and written toplines for Country-Western, Folk, Americana, Pop, Hip-Hop, Blues, Jazz, EDM, R&B and Soul projects.
In addition, I'm a poet and creative writer and have journals full of lyrics to pull from. I'm also happy to collaborate on lyrics and/or song concepts. I love writing toplines!
I have a small in-home studio and use Protools for most recordings. However, I do have access to a full studio for bigger projects.
